Doug was the President & CEO of the Fleetwood Group from 1995 to 2015. Prior to that he was Vice President of the Toyota/Honda Business Unit for Donnelly Corporation (now Magna). He began his career as a Sales Representative for P&G.
Brian Davis, Ph.D. (Secretary)
Superintendent, Holland Public Schools; Holland, MI
Dr. Brian Davis has been involved with Kids Hope USA for over twenty years serving as a school partner, principal, mentor, and Superintendent of Schools. His combined twenty-eight years of experience in public education both in rural, suburban, and urban settings contributes to the identification of needs and partnership opportunities between the faith-based community and public schools. His passion for mentoring and meeting needs of adolescents lead to the initiation of dialogue and eventual addition of Kids Hope Next to our program services. He currently serves as the Superintendent of Schools in Holland, Michigan.
Doug VanDyken (Treasurer)

Doug has an undergraduate degree in accounting from Hope College and a MBA from Grand Valley State University. He has worked at Hope College for 32 years and currently serves as it’s Director of Finance.

Prior to joining Northern Trust, Suzanne spent 26 years as a partner at Chapman and Cutler LLP in Chicago, ultimately leading the firm’s Trusts and Estates practice, representing individuals, charitable organizations and corporate fiduciaries in a full range of wealth planning, tax and fiduciary matters. Currently at Northern Trust, she is also an adjunct professor in the Tax Program at Northwestern University Pritzker School of Law.

Dave’s career has been in the area of nonprofit administration. He began with 19 years at Hope College as Assistant Director of Admissions, Associate Dean of Students, and Vice President of College Advancement. He continued with another 19 years as Managing Editor in a denominational publishing house, and 17 years as Executive Director of a Christian Camp and Retreat Center. He is currently retired.

Jason Paredes is the lead pastor of Fielder Church in Arlington, Texas, a large, multi-ethnic church in the DFW area. His church leads one of the largest Kid’s Hope programs in the nation with a vision to connect hundreds more mentors with mentees in their local schools.

Following a corporate marketing career, David served in church and children’s ministry leadership before joining Kids Hope USA as President & CEO for 11 years. He’s published seven books and served a dozen years as a senior editor/columnist at Christianity Today International. David joined the Transforming Center team in 2019 as their Chief Passion Officer.
