A Kids Hope USA program involves church members, school staff, and elementary and middle school students. Take a look at what these individuals have to say about mentoring and the Kids Hope USA partnership.

Church Testimonials
Kids Hope USA has created a higher bar of commitment. The program makes it as easy and clear for you as possible, but you’ve got to have some skin in the game. This higher bar of commitment has helped us, and maybe even raised our level of commitment in other areas.
I like the concept of one-on-one. Pouring into one child and building a personal relationship with them that could help build the trajectory of their life. As a Director, I like seeing break throughs with the other mentor/mentee. Many start out slow, but when the relationship blossoms, it’s heartwarming.
I mentor because when I was a kid, I wished someone could have talked and listened to me.
I love being a Kids Hope USA director because it’s helped me to build awesome relationships in the community that my church is in, not just with kids, but I’ve gotten to know families and staff members at the school that have become close friends. How the community comes around to support these kids is really beautiful.
I mentor because in this broken world, I believe it takes a village to raise a kid. The more caring people a child has surrounding them, the better chance they have to find peace, contentment, and purpose (and so much more)..
Having our mentors in the schools – seeing the dedication, the hard work – it just really helps them to grow in their perspective of how Jesus sees the community.
