Miss Gladys and her mentee, Brody met for lunch one last time before Christmas Break. They were having such a great time, other students wanted to join in their conversation. One of Brody’s friends asked, “Is this your Grandmother?” Brody hung his head low and said, “No, but I sure wish she was my grandma.” Gladys looked away to hide her teary eyes because Brody’s wish was the best Christmas gift ever.
