We’ve ended our previous book study and I thought it would be best to take a break during this Thanksgiving week before we start a new study.
This week has been an interesting paradox for our family. Rejoicing over the nearing completion of a two month-long major house remodel, but sadness as a neighbor and the director of a mission we support both died suddenly. I’m reminded again that this world is not our home but is simply a training time for the real home where we will experience eternal joy.
Take time to reflect on how much God has blessed you during this past year but recognize that all we strive so hard for is passing away. Stay focused on family and friendship relationships since those have eternal significance.
